We've been without Internet and cable since Friday night. The power went down and up as the storm rolled through, ultimately leaving us with "low power" until Sunday afternoon. (I didn't even know low power was an option.)
Sunday afternoon the power went off without warning. It's all been a bit of an adventure. An adventure that doesn't lend itself to blogging. (I'm typing this on my phone.)
I'm headed to CT for a long weekend after work tomorrow. It couldn't have arrived at a better time. So that's the update and an explanation of why posting probably won't resume until best week.
I hope those of you in the US have a lovely Fourth of July!
P.S. It's really, really hot in DC without air conditioning.
